ABOUT US
Partick Film Festival takes place in unique venues across Partick in the West End of Glasgow, where we showcase films from Scotland and beyond. We also host special screenings, masterclasses and talks by Film & TV professionals.
Our hosts include the journalist and broadcaster Paul English and actor / presenter Atta Yaqub. Our guest speakers have included Iain Pattison (Writer & creator of Rab C Nesbitt), Stuart Hepburn (Writer) Michael Caton-Jones (Director).
Our nonprofit organisation's ethos is to make as many of our events FREE of charge in order to give everyone an opportunity to access events at the festival and we can do this thanks to our funding and sponsorship.
Our festival also celebrates the best of independent cinema from around the world and our mission is to provide a platform for filmmakers to showcase their work and connect with audiences in Scotland.
We believe in promoting diverse voices and perspectives in cinema and creating a community of film lovers in Partick.
‘I’m delighted to be appearing at the Partick Film
Festival, I know how passionate Joseph is about his home town of Partick and for his profession, so what
better way to combine them than with the festival.’’
Michael Caton-Jones
